Thank you Hypnobirthing for this great experience!

One of the reasons why I never had gotten pregnant before was my fear of giving birth. I was absolutely terrified by many stories of people close to me who had gone through horrible pain for days and never seemed to be the same after their traumatic experiences. So, when I finally got pregnant I knew I had to do something to overcome my fear as it was evident that I would have to face giving birth somehow. I just didn’t know what to do until I met Inbal around my 15th week of pregnancy who told me about the concept of Hypnobirthing. Just one week later I had already finished reading the book and it was clear to me that I had to take the class.

During the course of my pregnancy the exercises gave me an opportunity to relax, focus on the upcoming birth and gave me the feeling of being prepared for whatever may come. By the time I was around 38 weeks I felt ready, prepared and curious to have my own experience of childbirth. A state, which I had never imagined I could ever achieve. When my little boy finally announced he was ready to see the world it was 4 am in the morning and I was relaxed. In fact, I was so relaxed that I didn’t realize it was already time to call the midwife until my partner woke up. During the first phase, the opening phase, the breathing techniques of Hypnobirthing have helped me a lot to stay calm and allow my body to do what it was supposed to do. I was able to use hypnobirthing breathing techniques throughout the whole process. What I am especially grateful for is the fact that I did not have any cuts or tears and therefor had a very healthy and enjoyable time after giving birth. As a matter of fact I could hardly understand the term ‘recovery from birth’ as I felt fit and well directly after my son was born. I am certain that I owe this fact to Inbal’s tip about the Epino which every pregnant woman should be aware of.

Giving birth to my son was an amazing experience that went rather quick (9 hours) and smooth. My initial fear has helped me to find the right means and ways to have a wonderful, relatively easy and quick birth so I believe that a bit of respect for the unknown is good and helps to create a positive experience. Thank you Hypnobirthing for this great experience!
