With the growing size of your baby and the uterus, your centre of gravity shifts forward, placing an increased pressure on the muscles in the back. Together with the release of hormones that loosen the ligaments in the body, and the enlargement of your breasts, all of these can alter your posture and increase strain on the neck, shoulders, and thoracic spine.

The Flow Yoga sequence presented on the video is specifically designed to enhance mobility, freedom of movement and lightness in the neck, shoulders and upper back, areas which are prone to become affected during pregnancy. Practicing them daily will bring not only a sense of lightness and spaciousness to the body, but also generate a sense courage, confidence and keeping yourselves open hearted towards what is about to unfold for us, in life and in birth.
