I went for Isis HypnoBirthing course because I wanted more control over the birth process, but on doing the course, it dawned upon me that the process is never about taking control but to surrender to it. The course was strengthening, enlightening and it helped calm my nerves right from the first session. My husband saw a lot of difference in the way I handled cramps, Braxton hicks or any pain after we went to Isis HypnoBirthing. I grew distant from my anxiety and thoughts on birth process as I understood that it will happen naturally, the way it’s supposed to happen.Inbal kindly answered all our questions before and during the course which helped us in making decisions. She is a kind and warm person. I felt comfortable with her right from the first email exchange we had. She even sent a mail after my due date which is very nice of her. I am grateful for the calm, reassuring words she sent after she knew that I was waiting for my baby after 40 weeks.Inbal’s course is a good blend of Hypnobirthing, massage therapy, aromatherapy, positions and spirituality. The knowledge she shared on pressure points and essential oils helped a lot. Birth affirmations are amazing for relaxation. The course also empowered my husband to be my pillar of support. He knew exactly what to do for me to be comfortable during surges.

Words from my midwife – “When I arrived at your place, I doubted if you have contractions because you were just lying on the bed calmly but when I checked, you were fully dilated and I could see your baby’s head!!”

The entire birth, right from water breaking, was 11 hours and that too without any pain relief medication which is great for first pregnancy, in my opinion. Inbal had shared about the spiritual part of giving birth. And that’s precisely what happened – moments just before and during my baby’s arrival, I was not there, I felt nothing around me until my husband and midwife repeatedly said “Open your eyes and see”.
I made a promise to my little girl that I will not cry and scream when she comes into this world. And Inbal helped me achieve this. I didn’t cry and neither did my baby. I had only tears of happiness on seeing her and she came to me like she knew this world and us very well. We wholeheartedly thank you for everything 🙂
